Vincent Anthony Trillo, 39, of Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County, California, United States is accused of sexually abusing a child. The victim is attending a school in Sacramento County.
Aside from Rancho Cordova, Trillo has lived in other parts of California including Sacramento. He has lived in different parts of Minnesota, USA including Saint Paul, Duluth, Kerrick and Cloquet.
On April 11, 2023, an employee of a school in Sacramento County, who is a mandated reporter, told detectives that a student had disclosed years-long sexual abuse at home. Trillo was identified as the suspect.
The child abuse bureau of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation and detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Trillo. The relationship between him and the student was not disclosed.
On September 5, 2023, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint against Trillo. On September 19, 2023, he was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail in Sacramento.
Trillo was charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and 19 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 by force or fear. On September 21, 2023, he appeared for his arraignment in Sacramento Superior Court.
Bail for Trillo was set at $3.9 million. He will be back in court on October 30, 2023 for further proceedings in his criminal case.
