On September 21, 2023, personnel assigned to the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant in Rickert’s house in Kemah, according to the Texas City Police Department. Detectives found evidence of child pornography on devices within the residence.
Rickert was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted the charge against him.
Bond for Rickert was set at $50,000. He is awaiting transport to the Galveston County Jail in Galveston, Galveston County.
