Emmeline G. Kenealy, 21, of Montgomery, Illinois, United States is attending Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She is a psychology and communication studies double major.
In February 2021, Kenealy was named to Augustana College’s 2020-2021 fall semester Dean’s List. In July 2021, she was named to the school’s 2020-2021 spring semester Dean’s List.
In February 2022, Kenealy was named to Augustana College’s 2021-2022 fall semester Dean’s List. In February 2023, she was named to the school’s 2022-2023 fall semester Dean’s List.
For the 2022-2023 school year, Kenealy received $250 from The Ragins/Braswell National Scholarship. She also won an additional $126,000 in scholarships.
In April 2023, Kenealy was one of the Augustana College juniors who were selected for the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program. The 10-week program is a paid full-time experience at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, USA.
On October 3, 2023, Kenealy was arrested on Augustana College campus and booked into the Rock Island County Jail in Rock Island. She is accused of sharing photos of a toddler in sexual situations with a man over Snapchat.
Kenealy was charged with three counts of reproduction of child pornography. She is being held without bond.
At 1:00 p.m. on October 4, 2023, Kenealy will appear in Rock Island County Court in Rock Island. Her detention hearing will be at 1:30 p.m.
