Stephen Ayon, 34, of Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana, United States is no longer an employee of Fishers Christian Academy in Fishers, Hamilton County. He worked there as an English teacher and a volleyball coach.
While employed as a Fishers Christian Academy teacher, Ayon allegedly pursued girls aged 13 over messaging apps including WhatsApp, Whisper Application and Text Now. He allegedly abused one girl in Fishers and another one in California, USA.
Ayon allegedly forced a female student, then 15, to touch him. They were allegedly in an inappropriate relationship for about one year and the victim was scared to tell anyone about it.
On September 24, 2023, Ayon was confronted outside Fishers Baptist Church in Fishers by members of the groups PredHunters Indiana and Creeps Spotlight. They accused him of having inappropriate online conversations with a purported girl aged 13, who was actually a decoy.
On September 26, 2023, Fishers Christian Academy terminated Ayon’s employment. That day, the Fishers Police Department received an anonymous tip that he behaved inappropriately with students.
Officers went to Ayon’s residence in Noblesville and interviewed him. He confessed to having a relationship with a student aged 15 and referred to his online conversations with minors as curiosity.
On September 29, 2023, Ayon was arrested. He was charged with dissemination of matter harmful to minors, child solicitation, child seduction, sexual misconduct with a minor, promotion of child sex trafficking and vicarious sexual gratification.
