Rachel Silvera of Windsor Castle, Saint Mary, Middlesex, Jamaica competed against 19 other Miss Universe Jamaica 2022 candidates at the AC Hotel Kingston in Kingston, Jamaica on September 3, 2022. She was runner-up to Toshami Calvin.
On July 6, 2024, Silvera competed against 32 other Miss Universe Jamaica 2024 candidates at the AC Hotel Kingston. She won the title.
Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 contestants
On August 9, 2025, Silvera will go back to AC Hotel Kingston to crown her successor. It is the 13th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Jamaica’s Miss Universe candidate.

Jamaica in Miss Universe
Currently, Jamaica has 10 Miss Universe placements including the fourth runner-up finish of Kaci Fennell in 2014, the second runner-up finish of Davina Bennett in 2017 and the first runner-up finish of Yendi Phillips in 2010. The most recent one was in 2023 when Jordanne Levy finished in the Top 20.
Jamaica was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Jamaica in 1961, from 1963 to 1966 and from 1968 to 1975 and Miss Jamaica Universe in 1982 and from 1986 to 2012. Miss Universe Jamaica started in 2013 under the directorship of Karl Williams and Mark McDermoth of Uzuri International.
