“The Damage” Darren Elkins, 39, of Portage, Porter County, Indiana, United States was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 230“, which is also known as “UFC on ESPN+ 88” and “UFC Vegas 81“. It marked his 18th victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, USA.
Featuring 11 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC Vegas 81” was held at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Las Vegas Valley, Clark County on October 14, 2023. In the sixth bout of the evening, Elkins faced T.J. Brown, 33, of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, USA in the featherweight division.
Kerry Hatley served as the referee of the featherweight contest. He stopped the fight after 2 minutes and 23 seconds in the third round when Elkins submitted Brown via rear-naked choke.

Born in Hobart, Lake County, Indiana, Elkins competed in wrestling while attending Portage High School in Portage. He also wrestled at the University of Wisconsin Parkside in Somers, Kenosha County, Wisconsin.
