Lindy Sue Little Biechler was an American woman from Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. David Vincent Sinopoli of East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County was 68 years old when he was arrested on July 17, 2022 in connection with her murder. 

On October 19, 2023, Sinopoli pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and other offenses connected to Biechler’s death. Here are 10 more things about her:

  5. She and her husband Philip Douglas Biechler lived in the Spring Manor apartment complex on Kloss Drive in Manor Township. He worked at Hertz Rent-a-Car while studying art at Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania.
  6. She was 5 years younger than her husband Philip.
  7. In October 1974, she and Philip got married.
  8. In June 1975, she became the first employee hired by Landis Flowers and Gifts in Manor Township, which was owned by Bob Aument.
  9. On November 26, 1975, her mother married Gary K. Geesey.
  10. Between 6:45 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. on December 5, 1975, she returned from the John Herr’s grocery store to her apartment in Manor Township. Shortly after entering the apartment, she was sexually assaulted and fatally stabbed 19 times in the neck, chest, upper abdomen and back in the apartment while her husband Philip was at work. At around 8:46 p.m., her aunt and uncle found her lying on her back in a pool of blood with a knife sticking out of her neck. The killer is unknown. She was 19.
