Daniel Joseph “Dan” Serafini is a former Major League Baseball player born in San Francisco, California, United States. He attended Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo, San Mateo County, California.

On June 25, 1996, Serafini made his MLB debut. He made his Chinese Professional Baseball League debut on August 21, 2002 and his Nippon Professional Baseball debut on April 12, 2004.

He was 49 years old when he was arrested on October 20, 2023 by investigators from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Tri-County Special Response Team, the Trident Task Force, the Winnemucca Police Department, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
