Lee’s Summit, Missouri’s Mike Breeden knocks out Anshul Jubli at ‘UFC 294’ in Abu Dhabi, UAE

The losing streak of “Money” Mike Breeden, 34, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, United States in the Ultimate Fighting Championship has ended. Thanks to his “UFC 294” victory.

Featuring 13 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC 294” was held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 21, 2023. In the fourth bout of the evening, Breeden fought “King of Lions” Anshul Jubli, 28, of Dehradun, India at a catch weight of 116.6 pounds.

Breeden is 5’10” tall. Jubli is 6’0″ tall.

Marc Goddard served as the referee of the catchweight bout. He stopped the fight after 3 minutes in the third round after Breeden knocked out Jubli via punches.

This made Breeden the first fighter to beat Jubli in a professional MMA bout. The Indian MMA fighter now has 7 wins and 1 loss.

On the other hand, Breeden now has 11 wins and 6 losses. “UFC 294” marked his first UFC win.

On January 27, 2017, Breeden made his professional MMA debut in Bellator MMA. On June 8, 2018, he made his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut.

On August 25, 2020, Breeden competed in “Dana White’s Contender Series 2020” Week 4 at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, USA where he lost to Anthony Romero via unanimous decision. When Breeden made his UFC debut at “UFC Fight Night 193” on October 2, 2021, he was knocked out by Alexander Hernandez.

On April 30, 2022, Breeden lost to Natan Levy via unanimous decision at “UFC on ESPN 35”. On August 12, 2023, the fighter from Lee’s Summit lost to Terrance McKinney via technical knockout at “UFC on ESPN 51”.
