Fraser Michael Bohm, 22, of Malibu, Los Angeles County, California, United States drove his four-door sedan on the evening of October 17, 2023. At around 8:30 p.m., he allegedly plowed into three parked cars in the 21600 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, ricocheted and crashed into Asha Weir, 21, Deslyn Williams, 21, Peyton Stewart, 21, and Niamh Rolston, 20.
Weir, Williams, Stewart and Rolston, who were walking near a group of parked cars, were killed. They were all seniors at the Seaver College of Liberal Arts of Pepperdine University in Malibu and Alpha Phi sorority members.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies conducted a field sobriety test and determined alcohol was not a factor. They arrested Fraser, who suffered minor injuries in the crash.
At around 2:30 a.m. on October 18, 2023, Fraser was booked into jail for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. At around 7:30 a.m., he was released because much of the evidence needed to keep him in custody was pending.
On October 23, 2023, four counts of murder were filed against Fraser. October 24, 2023, he was arrested again.
Bail for Fraser was set at $8 million. He has yet to post bail.
