Jacob Patrick Kane, 20, of Tarpon Springs, Pinellas County, Florida, United States has been arrested. He is accused of possessing child pornography.
Recently, detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) received information about child pornography being accessed and stored on the internet. Using various investigative techniques, the detectives linked the activity to Kane.
On October 24, 2023, Kane was arrested by detectives assigned to the CAC. He was found with child pornography images involving children ranging from under the age of one-year-old to 11 years old and videos of sexual activity involving animals, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Kane was charged with five counts of possession of videos of sexual activity involving animals and 20 counts of possession of child pornography. No details were released about his bond.
