Michael Peter Kinser, 29, of Lilburn, Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States was required to register as a sex offender in Florida, USA. On January 14, 2014, he was found guilty of traveling to meet a minor for the purpose of sexual conduct in Florida.

Recently, Kinser was arrested during the Operation Masquerade in Forsyth County, Georgia. It was a multiagency probe into internet crimes against children.

Led by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the operation involved the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office and the police department of Alpharetta, Fulton County, Georgia. For three days, the agencies investigated adults preying on juveniles online and soliciting them for sex.

Including Kinser, a total of 11 male residents of Georgia were arrested. The Lilburn resident was charged with illegal solicitation, enticing or seducing a minor, failure to obey traffic control device and fleeing or attempting to elude.

Founded on December 3, 1831, Forsyth County was named for John Forsyth. He served as the 13th U.S. secretary of state from July 1, 1834 to March 4, 1841.

The Operation Masquerade is the second operation of its kind in Forsyth County. In 2019, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office conducted Operation Just Cause, which led to the arrest of 24 people.

“Endanger our children in Forsyth County and you will find out what jail and no bond looks like,” Forsyth County sheriff Ron Freeman stated. “I am very proud of our Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and appreciate the unwavering support of our partner agencies during this operation.”
