Dr. Sean Michael Kirkpatrick is an American laser and materials physicist born in Columbus, Georgia, United States to an Army family. He is the first director of the Office of the Secretary of Defense‘s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, which was formed on July 20, 2022.
