Steven Michael “Stevie” Flockhart Jr., 39, of Atoka, Tipton County, Tennessee, United States is the lead pastor of 901 Church in Millington, Shelby County, Tennessee. He used to sing at weddings and funerals for people close to him.

As a teen, Flockhart performed in a band. Aside from singing, he also plays the guitar.

In 2010, Flockhart appeared in “American Idol” Season 9 and passed the audition round but did not make it to the Top 24. In 2012, he was selected as a contestant on “The Voice” Season 3.

In 2020, a lawsuit was filed against Flockhart, who is a former resident of Acworth, Georgia, USA. He was accused of forging documents and impersonating the account holder of a credit card at a separate church in Georgia.

In December 2019, Flockhart and a male member of his congregation opened a joint credit card for the congregation. The pastor asked for the parishioner’s personal information, which the parishioner reluctantly gave.

Afterwards, Flockhart opened a credit card through PayPal under the parishioner’s name that the parishioner did not authorize. In September 2023, the parishioner was informed that his credit score dropped significantly because of the credit card with an unpaid balance of $6,410.

On November 2, 2023, Flockhart was arrested and booked into the Shelby County Jail in Memphis, Shelby County. He was charged with identity theft and theft of merchandise between $2,500 and $10,000.

On November 3, 2023, Flockhart posted bond. That day, 901 Church took to Facebook to release a statement saying it is aware of the recent allegations made by Dana Mark McCall.

Only 901 Church mentioned the name of Flockhart’s accuser. The congregation asserted that it does not “find the allegations factual”.

“For the Partners of 901 Church, we will still be having church on Sunday where our mission remains the same: We exist so that people would be reached and lives would be changed,” 901 Church stated. “Please pray for our pastor and his family, for the hearts of those who seek to attack him and the church and our community.”

On November 6, 2023, Flockhart will appear in court. He has yet to release a statement about his recent arrest.
