Timothy James Opincar, 54, of Fairview Park, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States has lived in different parts of Michigan, USA including Detroit and Wayne. Aside from Fairview Park, he has lived in other parts of Ohio including Brookpark, Cleveland, Middleburg Heights, North Ridgeville, Parma Heights and Youngstown.
In 1988, Opincar graduated from Holy Name High School in Parma Heights. In 1990, he graduated from Hickok Technical Institute in Cleveland.
Since April 7, 2014, Opincar has been registered to vote in Cuyahoga County. He is not affiliated to any political party.
Recently, Opincar was arrested in Cuyahoga County as part of Operation Spider Web, a sting operation targeting online child exploitation offenders interested in engaging in sexual activity with whom they believed to be minor children. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force coordinated the operation from October 26-29, 2023.
Including Opincar, 14 men allegedly communicated online with undercover officers who they thought were underage children. After the online conversations, the suspects allegedly traveled to an arranged location in Cuyahoga County to have sex and were arrested by officials from different law enforcement agencies including the U.S Secret Service and the offices of Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County.
Importuning, compelling prostitution, possessing criminal tools, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were the initial charges filed against the 14 suspects. The charges range from third-degree to fifth-degree felonies.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Cleveland Division of Police participated in Operation Spider Web. Also involved in the operation were the sheriff’s departments of Ohio’s Ottawa County and Portage County and the police departments of Ohio’s Austintown, Independence, Kelly’s Island, Newburgh Heights, Perrysburg, Solon and Streetsboro.
Operation Spider Web is the Ohio ICAC Task Force’s fifth such operation since 2018. Including Opincar, a total of 122 suspects have been arrested.
