“Icão” Vitor Petrino, 26, of Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais, Brazil was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 231“. The undefeated Brazilian mixed martial artist has earned his third victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

Featuring 10 MMA matches, “UFC Fight Night 231” was held at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil. In the fourth bout of the evening, Petrino fought “The Baltic Gladiator” Modestas Bukauskas, 29, of Lithuania and England in the light heavyweight division.

Marc Goddard served as the referee of the light heavyweight contest. He stopped the bout after 1 minute and 3 seconds in the second round after Petrino knocked out Bukauskas via punch.

The loss downgraded Bukauskas’s professional MMA record to 15 wins and 5 losses. It was the Lithuanian-English MMA fighter’s fourth loss in the UFC.

On March 11, 2023, Petrino made his UFC debut at “UFC Fight Night 221” at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas where he defeated Anton Turkalj via split decision. On July 8, 2023, he submitted Marcin Prachnio via arm-triangle choke at “UFC 290” at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Petrino now has 10 wins and 0 loss. He has been fighting professionally since May 3, 2019.
