Taiana Carla Tersano, 31, of Hollywood, Broward County, United States is originally from Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. She and Michael Diaz, 34, of Davie, Broward County, Florida have a child born in 2016.
Just before 4:30 p.m. on November 3, 2023, Diaz and Tersano was in a white panel van with their child. They allegedly pulled up in Royal Poinciana, Hollywood and approached a girl, 9, playing on the street.
Still inside the van, Tersano allegedly rolled the window down. She allegedly told the girl, “Come here.”
At the time, the girl’s mother was inside their house while the girl’s mother was sitting in his car. He got out of his car when he saw Tersano get out of the van and approach his daughter.
“Grab the f—–g kid!” Diaz yelled at Tersano, according to a witness. She allegedly spat in the face of the girl’s father and punched him.
The father punched Tersano in self-defense and was able to keep his daughter from being kidnapped. Tersano ran back into the van.
Diaz and Tersano drove away and was stopped and arrested by police officers on North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County. She allegedly violently resisted arrest.
Child protective services officials took custody of Diaz and Tersano’s child. He was charged with luring and enticing a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Tersano was charged with luring and enticing a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and resisting arrest. She and Diaz were booked into the Broward County Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
