Myktybek Orolbai, 25, of Osh, Kyrgyzstan is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, United States. The Kyrgyz professional mixed martial artist is 5’10” tall and he competes in the welterweight division.

On November 18, 2023, Orolbai made his UFC debut at ““UFC Fight Night 232“, which is also known as “UFC on ESPN+90” and “UFC Vegas 82”, at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Las Vegas Valley, Clark County. In the ninth bout of the evening, he fought “The Doctor” Uroš Medić, 30, who is fighting out of Novi Sad, Serbia by way of Huntington Beach, Orange County, California, USA.

Mike Beltran served as the referee of the match between Orolbai and Medic in the welterweight division. The referee stopped fight after 4 minutes and 12 seconds in the second round after the Kyrgyz MMA fighter submitted his Serbian opponent via neck crank.

The loss downgraded Medic’s professional MMA record to 9 wins and 2 losses. He has been competing in the UFC since 2021.

On the other hand, Orolbai now has 12 wins and 1 loss. He was the only Kyrgyz MMA fighter on the “UFC Vegas 82” card.

As an amateur MMA fighter, Orolbai defeated Ilya Kygach of Belarus on March 25, 2018. On August 12, 2018, the fighter from Osh made his professional MMA debut in Kara-suu, Kyrgyzstan where he submitted his fellow Kyrgyz fighter Eldiyar Toobaev.

On November 25, 2018, Orolbai submitted Saidal Khazmuradov of Russia in a Professional Fighters League Kyrgyzstan event in Osh. On January 20, 2019, the World Ertaymash Federation match between Orolbai and Fakhreddin Myrzadavlatov of Uzbekistan ended in a unanimous draw.

Orolbai submitted Faruh Kadirov of Uzbekistan in a WEF fight in Arashan, Kyrgyzstan on March 10, 2019 and defeated Shamil Mutalimov of Russia via technical knockout in a Road Fighting Championship fight in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on June 22, 2019. After losing to Khalid Satuev via unanimous decision in an Absolute Championship Akhmat event in Chechnya, Russia on December 22, 2020, Orolbai defeated Peyman Haciev of Georgia via technical knockout in an Open Fighting Championship event in Bishkek on August 14, 2021.

In Sulukta Fight Night Grand Prix on November 26, 2021, Orolbai defeated Mashrabzhon Sobirov and Bolup Kaldyadis Talabek Uulu both via technical knockout. In Legacy Fighting Alliance, Orolbai defeated Jalin Fuller via unanimous decision on May 6, 2022, defeated Glaucio Eliziario via technical knockout on August 4, 2023 and knocked out Hayward Charles on October 27, 2023.
