“Magnanimous” Mhar John Manahan, 29, of Carmona, Cavite, Philippines is one of the Filipino professional mixed martial artists currently signed with BRAVE Combat Federation. He trains out of Manahan Martial Arts Training Center in Carmona.
On the evening of November 26, 2023, Manahan will make his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 76” at Balai Sarbini in Jakarta, Indonesia. On the card are 11 MMA matches.
In the ninth bout of the evening, the Filipino MMA fighter will fight Windri Patilima, 30, of Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, Indonesia in the lightweight division. It will be livestreamed here:
Mhar John Manahan
Manahan made his professional MMA debut on February 17, 2018. He earned his first professional MMA win in a Domination Fight League event in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 26, 2019.
On September 21, 2019, Manahan made his One Pride MMA debut at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta where he fought Simalungun, Indonesia’s Jeka Saragih. On November 18, 2023, the latter earned his first Ultimate Fighting Championship win.
Windri Patilima
Like Manahan, Patilima is a BRAVE CF debutante. They are both 5’6″ tall.
From 2019 to 2022, the Indonesian MMA fighter fought in One Pride MMA and was undefeated. His record was broken when he lost to Kagoshima, Japan’s Shin Haraguchi in the quarterfinals of “Road to UFC” Season 2 in Shanghai, China on May 28, 2023.
Including Indonesia and the Philippines, a total of 10 countries are represented at “BRAVE CF 76”. The others are Australia, Bahrain, China, Iran, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russia and Thailand.
Patilima is one of the nine fighters representing the host country while Manahan is one of the three fighters representing the Philippines. In the main event of the evening, Kamil Magomedov, 31, of Moscow, Russia will fight Josh Togo of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia in the lightweight division.
“BRAVE CF 76” is the third BRAVE CF event hosted by Indonesia. “BRAVE CF 12” was held at Balai Sarbini on May 11, 2018 and “BRAVE CF 66” was held at Politeknik Pariwisata in Bali, Indonesia on November 26, 2022.
