“Bagsik” Ruel Pañales, 26, of Placer, Masbate, Philippines is one of the Filipino professional mixed martial artists currently signed with BRAVE Combat Federation. He trains out of the DyIncredible Fighting and Fitness Center in Dasmariñas, Cavite
On November 26, 2023, Pañales will make his third BRAVE CF appearance at “BRAVE CF 76” at Balai Sarbini in Jakarta, Indonesia. He and Mao Jianbing (毛建兵) of Chengdu, Sichuan, China will battle it out in the flyweight division.

Ruel Pañales
Pañales was an undefeated professional MMA fighter from 2021 to 2022. On November 26, 2022, he made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 66” at Politeknik Pariwisata in Bali, Indonesia.
The bout between Farhad and Pañales ended in a No Contest due to accidental groin kick. They were supposed to have their rematch at “BRAVE CF 70” in Slovenia on April 23, 2023 but it was cancelled.
On June 19, 2023, Pañales fought Maysara Mohamed, 24, of Alexandria, Egypt at “BRAVE CF 71“ at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa, Bahrain. The Egyptian contender knocked out his Filipino opponent.
Mao Jianbing
Mao is a kickboxer. He trains at Ashura Fight Club in Chengdu.
On April 8, 2023, Mao made his professional MMA debut in Wu Lin Feng at Wusa Stadium in Weining, Guizhou, China. He was submitted by his fellow Chinese MMA fighter Li Lierqian.
“BRAVE CF 76” marks Mao’s BRAVE CF debut. He solely represents China.

Including China and the Philippines, a total of 10 countries are represented at “BRAVE CF 76”. The others are Australia, Bahrain, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russia and Thailand.
The Philippines is represented by Pañales, Mhar John Manahan and Kenneth Maningat. The three Filipino MMA fighters previously fought in Indonesia.
In the main event, Kamil Magomedov, 31, of Moscow, Russia will fight Josh Togo of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. They will battle it out in the lightweight division.
“BRAVE CF 76” is the third BRAVE CF event hosted by Indonesia. “BRAVE CF 12” was held at Balai Sarbini on May 11, 2018 and “BRAVE CF 66” was held at Politeknik Pariwisata in Bali, Indonesia on November 26, 2022.
