Vennessa Lynne Thompson Phillips of Senoia, Coweta County, Georgia, United States has died. She was 35.
Aside from Senoia, Phillips lived in other parts of Georgia including Fitzgerald, Newnan and Palmetto. She also lived in Cleveland, Tennessee, USA and Rochester, New York, USA.
Phillips was an Amazon Associates employee. She has five children and one grandchild.
On December 20, 2022, Dustin Allen Phillips, 34, of Senoia tagged Vennessa in a Facebook post and wrote “I love you!!” In the comment section, she replied, “Love you too”.
On November 3, 2023, Vennessa shared a Facebook image with the words “Co-Parenting Is NOT Hard If You Just Worry About The Child And Not The Other Parent’s Business”. On November 12, 2023, she took to Facebook to share the music video of Jessie Murph‘s song “Where Do You Go”, which is about being hurt by someone a person is deeply in love with.
On November 21, 2023, investigators found Vennessa dead inside a residence along Halo Trace in Sharpsburg, Coweta County. She was fatally shot inside the residence, which is near East Coweta High School.
The school has been cleared. It was previously placed on lockdown.
Dustin was identified as the suspect. He previously lived in Fitzgerald, Newnan and Cleveland, as well.
Currently, multiple agencies including the U.S. Marshals Service, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office are searching for Dustin. He has yet to be located.
According to Coweta County Sheriff’s Office sergeant Toby Nix, Dustin has an active warrant for felony murder. The Senoia man is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who sees Dustin should immediately call 911 and not approach him. He is 5’8″ tall and he weighs around 100 pounds.
