Officers with the police department of Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina, United States have arrested Kion Osha Ligon, 27, of Laurens. They are still looking for Malcolm Jamar Fuller, 27.

Currently, Ligon is awaiting trial for a conspiracy charge in relation to a murder in 2021. On February 26, 2023, Laurens Police Department officers arrested him and Ottissa Dequonce Ligon, then 31, of Clinton, Laurens County.

Ottissa and Kion were accused of shooting into an occupied car after an altercation. They were each charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and two counts of attempted murder.

How Ottissa and Kion are related is unclear. The latter was released on bond.

Aside from Laurens, Kion has lived in other parts of South Carolina including Clinton. While out on bond, he went to Topic Lounge on West Main Street in Laurens with Fuller on the evening of November 21, 2023.

Just before midnight, Kion and Fuller were allegedly involved in an altercation that led to an armed assault. Along with Fuller, Kion allegedly fired shots from a car in the direction of the night club.

Kion was taken into custody without incident. Fuller remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Fuller is 6’0″ tall and he weighs 180 pounds. He has a full throat tattoo with the letters “LA” in the center.

Anyone with information about Malcolm Jamar Fuller is asked to immediately call 911 or the Laurens Police Department at 864-681-2351.
