Jade A. Pittsley, 33, of Binghamton, Broome County, New York, United States has been arrested. She previously lived in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA.
Aside from Binghamton, Pittsley has lived in other parts of New York including Harpursville. In high school, she began skipping class to smoke marijuana with her friends and eventually dropped out of school and started using cocaine, pills and hallucinogens.
While serving jail time, Pittsley met someone who introduced her to drug distribution. In 2019, she was found with an eight-ball of meth in a known narcotics trafficking area of Binghamton.
On July 12, 2020, Pittsley she was in the passenger seat of a sport utility vehicle driving erratically in Tioga County, New York. The driver of the SUV admitted to recent drug use.
As New York State Police were about to make a traffic stop, Pittsley allegedly tried to throw away a large amount of her meth. At the time, she also had an active and extraditable warrant from Pennsylvania, USA.
Before Pittsley’s arrest that day, she had two prior drug convictions. She also had convictions for helping a man burn down a house in Pennsylvania and assaulting another woman at a gas station.
On July 13, 2020, Pittsley was charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. She was jailed after her initial appearance in federal courthouse in Binghamton.
On May 7, 2021, Pittsley was sentenced by a federal judge to five years in prison after she pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute meth. She had been under supervision of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and had been afforded the opportunity to finish her sentence at a halfway house in Albany, Albany County, New York.
On November 16, 2023, Pittsley was supposed to return to the facility but she refused to do so so she was placed in an escape status. The U.S. Marshals Service obtained a warrant for her arrest.
On November 21, 2023, members of the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Pittsley after she was spotted leaving a retail store in Johnson City, Broome County. More than 40 grams of methamphetamines were found on her.
Pittsley was transported to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with felony narcotics possession.
