Both Colton Joseph Thornton, 28, and Nicole Shockey-Rydall, 31, are residents of Eagle Point, Jackson County, Oregon, United States. They are a couple.
On November 16, 2023, Shockey-Rydall and Thornton were arrested for child sex crimes. Details about their alleged crimes were not released.
Shockey-Rydall was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. Thornton was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual penetration, first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse.
Thornton and Shockey-Rydall were booked into the Jackson County Jail in Medford, Jackson County. They are awaiting legal proceedings.
According to Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Special Victims Unit (SVU) detectives, Thornton may have victimized other juveniles. The detectives actively pursuing additional leads.
