Fighting out of Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, “The Hitman” Phil Caracappa, 31, is currently in Washington, D.C., USA. He has just earned his first Professional Fighters League victory.

On February 24, 2017, Caracappa made his professional mixed martial arts debut. He previously competed in Ring of Combat, Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Dana White’s Contender Series.
2023 PFL World Championship
The PFL held the world championship of its 2023 season at The Anthem in in Southwest Waterfront, Washington, D.C., USA on November 24, 2023. The partnership between the league and DUDE Wipes started during the event and will continue in 2024.
There were 11 matches on the card including six title bouts. The main card had seven bouts and the preliminary card had four bouts.
A bantamweight bout between Stirn and “The Shadow” Khai Wu, 28, of Tracy, California, USA was one of the bouts on the preliminary card. They both made their PFL debut.

Kevin Mulhall served as the referee of the bantamweight contest between Caracappa and Wu at the 2023 PFL World Championship. After three 5-minute rounds, the referee raised the hand of the fighter from Freehold Township, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
The loss downgraded Wu’s professional MMA record to 7 wins and 5 losses. He made his professional MMA debut on February 3, 2018.
On the other hand, Caracappa now has 11 wins and 3 losses. It was his six professional MMA win via unanimous decision.
A total of six countries were represented at the 2023 PFL World Championship, namely Brazil, Canada, Peru, Russia, Sweden and the U.S. Caracappa and Wu were two of the 13 fighters from the U.S.
