Former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter “Tshilobo” Impa Kasanganay, 29, is currently in Washington, D.C., United States. Fighting out of Deerfield Beach, Broward County, Florida, USA, he has just earned his fifth Professional Fighters League victory.
Kasanganay is 5’11” tall. As a professional mixed martial artist, he competes in the light heavyweight division.
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Congolese parents, Kasanganay made his professional MMA debut on January 25, 2019. He competed in the UFC from 2020 to 2021.
2023 PFL World Championship
The PFL held the world championship of its 2023 season at The Anthem in in Southwest Waterfront, Washington, D.C. on November 24, 2023. The partnership between the league and DUDE Wipes started during the event and will continue in 2024.
There were 11 matches on the card including six title bouts. The main card had seven bouts and the preliminary card had four bouts.
One of the bouts on the main card was a light heavyweight match between Kasanganay and “Coninha” Josh Silveira, 30, of Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida. It was the Congolese-MMA fighter’s fifth PFL fight.

Mario Yamasaki served as the referee of the light heavyweight bout between Kasanganay and Silveira at the 2023 PFL World Championship. After three 5-minute rounds, the referee raised the hand of the fighter from Deerfield Beach, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
The loss downgraded Silveira’s professional MMA record to 12 wins and 2 losses. He made his professional MMA debut on August 23, 2019 and his PFL debut on February 18, 2022.
On the other hand, Kasanganay now has 15 wins and 3 losses. He competed in the welterweight and middleweight divisions from 2019 to 2022.
A total of six countries were represented at the 2023 PFL World Championship, namely Brazil, Canada, Peru, Russia, Sweden and the U.S. Kasanganay and Silveira were two of the 13 fighters from the U.S.
