During a pro-Palestine rally on November 19, 2023, Wright was wielding a 10-to-12-inch Egyptian-style knife hidden under his shirt while running from West Palm Beach Police officers. He was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail in West Palm Beach at around 6:00 p.m. and released on his own recognizance at around 8:00 p.m.

Wright was charged with unlawful carry of a concealed weapon and resisting arrest without violence with a citation for obstructing traffic by a pedestrian. While at a bar on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach on November 24, 2023, he allegedly pulled a 12-inch retractable baton from his pocket, whipped it open and extended it in a threatening manner.

When West Palm Beach Police Department officers arrested Wright, they found a small clear baggie containing a white crystalized substance inside his jacket pocket. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) or ecstasy.

Before Wright’s third arrest, he and a woman, 46, went on three dates. They first met online.

After discovering suspicious details about Wright, including his previous arrests, the woman stopped contacting him. Because of this, he allegedly told her she was a dead woman walking and he “wanted to punch a Jew in the face”.

Wright allegedly continued harassing the woman and sending her threatening messages. On November 26, 2023, he was arrested again.

Bond for Wright was set at $40,000. He was charged with harassment and sending written threats to kill or do harm.

When Wright made his first appearance in court on November 27, 2023, he was ordered to have no contact with weapons and the woman he allegedly harassed. According to the Palm Beach County School District, he is currently on administrative leave.
