Bail for Los Angeles, California’s Jameelah Michl set at $3 million; Who is Michael Latt?

Michael Latt of Mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles, California, United States has died. He was 33.

Jameelah Elena Michl, 36, of Los Angeles is accused of murdering Latt. Whether or not they knew each is unclear.

Michl was living in her vehicle. At around 6:00 p.m. on November 27, 2023, she allegedly broke into Latt’s apartment in Mid-Wilshire.

That night, Michl allegedly shot Latt inside his residence. He was rushed to the hospital where he died a few hours later.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Mich stayed at the scene. She was arrested and booked for murder.

Bail for Michl was set at $3 million. Prior to the arrest, she did not have a criminal history.
