Ureka R. Black is an American woman from Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. She is Felicia Black and Pycolyia Black‘s sister.
Ureka is the mother of Elijah Black and Joshua Black. She also has a daughter.

On September 23, 2021, Ureka left a note and money for her daughter. The latter was in the custody of a grandmother.
On September 24, 2021, Ureka allegedly tossed her two sons from a bridge into Cross Lake near Shreveport. Later that day, the boys were recovered from the lake.
Elijah survived while Joshua died. On September 24, 2021, Ureka was arrested in Waskom, Texas, USA.

- Between 2006 to 2011, she was arrested 12 times in different parishes in Louisiana including Caddo and Bossier. Among the crimes she allegedly committed during that period were aggravated battery, domestic abuse battery, possession of drugs in the presence of a minor, possession of marijuana, property damage, prostitution, resisting arrest, simple assault and trespassing.
- In 2008, she gave birth to her daughter.
- In 2010, she was arrested for aggravated arson after breaking into the home of her ex-boyfriend and set fire to the floor while she was with her daughter. In September 2010, she pleaded guilty to simple arson and was sentenced to five years in prison, which was suspended and reduced to 30 days.
- In 2011, she was arrested in Bossier for prostitution. She was not prosecuted.
- In October 2012, her probation was revoked and her original five-year sentence in 2010 was imposed by the court. With credit for time served in the parish jail, she only served nine months at the state prison for women.
- On May 15, 2013, she was released from prison. In July 2013, she was arrested for prostitution.
- In 2015, she was arrested again in Bossier for prostitution. She pleaded no contest and was sentenced to six months in the parish jail with credit for time served.
- In April 2016, she was arrested in Caddo Parish, Louisiana for human trafficking and prostitution. On September 24, 2016, she gave birth to Elijah.
- In May 2017, she pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of pandering. After admitting to encouraging a girl, then 17, to get into prostitution, she was sentenced to two years in prison and given credit for time served.
- In December 2020, she gave birth to Joshua.
- On September 27, 2021, she was moved to the Caddo Correctional Center in Shreveport and charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. That day, her sisters Felicia and Pycolyia said they have suspected she had mental health issues her whole life.
- On September 13, 2023, she was found guilty of murder and attempted murder. On September 30, 2023, District Judge Donald E. Hathaway Jr. ordered her to serve a sentence of life in a state correctional facility without the possibility of parole.
- In November 2023, she turned 35.
