Victor Manuel Hernandez Pineda, 53, is a pastor at Iglesia Pentecostes Movimiento de Gloria, a Spanish-language church in Richmond, Contra Costa County, California, United States. He and his wife Lorena Hernandez have a daughter and a son.
Victor is accused of molesting Karen Cifuentes, 21, when she was a minor. She is Pablo Cifuentes and Sonia Gonzalez‘s daughter.
Karen was one of Victor’s congregants when the alleged abuse took place. Pablo was a senior official at Hernandez’s congregation.
Over three years, Hernandez allegedly sexually abused Cifuentes five times. He photographed her holding his assault rifle during the time he allegedly was sexually abusing her.
On November 9, 2023, an investigation was launched. On December 1,2023, Richmond Police Department officers arrested Victor.
Bail for Victor was set at $7 million. He was charged with three counts of kidnapping and four counts of molesting a girl younger than 14.
