Based in Crystal City, Virginia, United States, the U.S. Marshals Service participated in a sex trafficking investigation in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama, USA. It was led by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation was held from December 7-8, 2023. Also involved were the Montgomery Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

The 15 arrestees have each been charged with attempted human trafficking in the first degree, electronic solicitation of a child and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act. Among them, Johnson was the first one to be arrested on December 7, 2023.
Johnson is accused of knowingly soliciting a minor to engage in sexual servitude and knowingly traveling within the state of Alabama in an attempt to engage in sexual servitude with a minor. He also allegedly knowingly communicated on an electronic device with someone he believed to be a child for sexual servitude.
Bond for Johnson has been set at $500,000. He was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Center in Montgomery.
