Kang Daniel (강다니엘), 27, Sung Han-bin (성한빈), 22, and Jang Won-young (장원영), 19, will host the 2023 Asia Artist Awards ceremony. It is the eighth edition of the awards ceremony that honors South Korean artists’ achievements and international contributions in Asian television, film and music.
Organized by STAR NEWS, TONZ ENTERTAINMENT and PULP Live World, the 2023 Asia Artist Awards will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, Philippines on December 14, 2023. This is the first time the awards ceremony is held in the country.
The event will feature performances and appearances from various artists, including NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, SEVENTEEN’s BSS, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, ITZY, THE BOYZ, NMIXX, Kwon Eunbi, Kep1er, SB19, Dreamcatcher, KARD, AKMU, &TEAM, Lee Youngji, STAYC and Ash Island. Renowned K-drama actors like Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Seon-ho, Kim Se-jeong and Moon Ga-young will also be in attendance.
A development spearheaded by the South Korean business newspaper Money Today along with global media giants MTN and StarNews, the Asia Artist Awards is more than an awards ceremony. Often compared to the Oscars and Grammys of Asia, it is a celebration of Asian talent and creativity, bringing together artists, producers, directors and celebrities from across the continent.

Over the years, the awards ceremony has recognized the talents of K-pop legends BTS and EXO, trot singer Lim Young-woong and actors Lee Jung-jae and Lee Seung-gi. Hallyu personalities Park Bo-gum and Im Yoon-ah were among the first recipients of the prestigious Asia Star Award and the awards ceremony has also feted new blood, such as aespa and IVE.
