Yoo Beyong Eun represented South Korea at Mister Friendship International 2022 and competed against 15 other candidates at the Aura Rich Hall in Ban Ped, Mueang, Khon Kaen, Thailand on December 18, 2022. He won the title.
On December 13, 2023, Yoo crowned his successor Leav Veng Hour of Cambodia at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts (FA) Theater of Khon Kaen University in Khon Kaen. The former is the first Korean winner and the latter is the first Cambodian winner of the international beauty pageant.
