Indira Ampiot represented Guadeloupe, France at Miss France 2023 and competed against 29 other candidates at the M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire, France on December 17, 2022. She won the title.
Runner-up to Ampiot was Agathe Cauet of Nord-Pas-de-Calais. The respective second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth runners-up were Marion Navarro of Franche-Comte, Axelle Rene of Martinique, Alissia Ladeveze of Auvergne, Flavy Barla of Cote d’Azur and Sarah Aoutar of Lorraine.

On December 16, 2023, Ampiot will crown her successor at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France. It is the 94th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe and Miss World candidates of the country.

Miss France 2005 Cindy Fabre has been the national director of Miss France since 2022. She replaced Miss France 2002 Sylvie Tellier, who was the national director from 2007 to 2021.
Tellier will serve as one of the judges at Miss France 2024. Joining her in the selection committee are Adriana Sklenarikova, Eloudie Poux, Estelle Mossely, Nina Metayer, Nolwenn Leroy and Stefi Celma.
