At around 8:50 a.m., he left the M Resort and Casino with the Stockton Kings. At 10:03 a.m., he sent a message to Harnden saying, “Calmly answer them. They only know what you tell them.”
  • On December 7, 2023, he played in another game with the Stockton Kings in Portland, Oregon, USA. Also that day, Harnden went to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report Rodgers missing.
  • On December 15, 2023, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrested him in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California and booked him into the Sacramento County Jail in Sacramento. The Stockton Kings waived his right after his arrest and he admitted to fatally strangling Rodgers.
