Cora Bliault, 19, of Chiang Mai, Thailand almost won Miss Earth 2023. She is a model of Thai and Canadian descent.
On September 1, 2023, Bliault competed against 11 other Miss Earth Thailand 2023 finalists at the Grand Ballroom of the InterContinental Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand. She won the title.
On November 8, 2023, Bliault participated in an auction in Bangkok, Thailand to raise money for the United Nations refugees agency. On November 28, 2023, she arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Hosted by James Deakin and Huỳnh Thị Thuỳ Dung, the Miss Earth 2023 coronation night was held at Vạn Phúc City in Hiệp Bình Phước, Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on December 22, 2023. Including Bliault, a total of 85 women competed for the title.
The Top 4 candidates were given the same question. Deakin asked, “An official at a recent climate conference was quoted as saying there is no science behind coals for the phaseout of fossil fuels. Do you agree with this? Why or why not?”
Bliault answered, “I believe if the right eyes and ears are on the right thing like green energy and alternative from fossil fuels, I believe we can make a difference in combating the emissions we are giving out to our planet and helping our planet becoming a better place by investing and educating people about the green alternatives there is.”
It was Drita Ziri, 23, of Albania who won the Miss Earth 2023 crown. Finishing second and third, respectively, were Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Aduana, 25, of the Philippines and Miss Earth-Water 2023 Đỗ Thị Lan Anh, 26, of Vietnam.
Bliault finished fourth and was crowned Miss Earth-Fire 2023. After finishing in the Top 8, Morgana Carlos, 27, of Brazil, Dilnaz Tilaeva, 19, of Kazakhstan, Noa Claus, 21, of the Netherlands and Daria Lukonkina, 19, of Russia were named the four runners-up.
Shontelle, Jaykii, Mono and Sara Luu performed during the event. There were 10 members in the panel of judges including Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong and TNA Entertainment director Truong Ngoc Anh.
