Hosted by James Deakin and Huỳnh Thị Thuỳ Dung, the Miss Earth 2023 coronation night was held at Vạn Phúc City in Hiệp Bình Phước, Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on December 22, 2023. Including Aduana, a total of 85 women competed for the title.

The Top 4 candidates were given the same question. Deakin asked, “An official at a recent climate conference was quoted as saying there is no science behind coals for the phaseout of fossil fuels. Do you agree with this? Why or why not?”

“As someone who is from the medical field, I do believe that everything roots from science,” Aduana answered. “And I think that the greatest gift that we have in this generation is the sophisticated technical installations that we have and so there is science in the phaseout of fossil fuels.”

“But one thing that we can also agree on is we can always live the zero-waste and sustainable lifestyle,” Miss Earth Philippines 2023 continued. “I’ve always been practicing it because sustainability will always ensure the stability in our future and if we can master the transferability skills from a just phaseout, then we will have a greener and more sustainable future.”

It was Drita Ziri, 23, of Albania who won the Miss Earth 2023 crown. Aduana finished second and was crowned Miss Earth-Air 2023 while Đỗ Thị Lan Anh, 26, of Vietnam finished third and was crowned Miss Earth-Water 2023.
