Six male residents of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, United States were arrested amid the holidays. At around 7:50 a.m. on December 22, 2023, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Area Vice Unit conducted a sting operation targeting sex purchasers and human traffickers in South Los Angeles, Los Angeles County.
Undercover LAPD officers posed as commercial sex workers. They were contacted by individuals trying to purchase sexual services.
The six suspects were arrested, cited for solicitation for the purposes of prostitution and released from custody. Here is the list:

At the height of holiday shopping on the evening of December 23, 2023, around 425 protesters marched in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles County towards the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. LAPD officers prevented the group from entering the crowded shopping center.
The protestors took over the intersection of West 3rd Street and La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, which the LAPD declared unlawful. After receiving a dispersal order, the protesters peacefully complied.
