Audrianna Williams, 31, worked at Monroe Comprehensive High School in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, United States as a teacher and a cheerleading coach. The school is part of the Dougherty County School System.
Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020, Jamel Ovestreet made a rap video celebrating going back to school. It featured Williams and her fellow Monroe Comprehensive High School teacher Callie Evans.
The video went viral. It also featured some students of the school.
Between midnight on November 1, 2023 and midnight on November 30, 2023 at Albany Strikers in Albany, Williams allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conduct with a senior at Monroe Comprehensive High School. Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on December 2, 2023, the teacher and the student allegedly did the same thing at June Bugs Grocery on Newton Road in Albany.
On December 13, 2023, the Dougherty County School System placed Williams on administrative leave. On December 15, 2023, she submitted her resignation in lieu of termination by the Dougherty County Board of Education.
On December 19, 2023, Williams was arrested. In the afternoon, she posted a $2,000 bond and was released.
Williams was charged with two counts of sexual assault by a person with disciplinary authority. She could face 1-20 years in jail for each count if she is found guilty of the charges.
