Senegal is home to fashion model Khoudia Diop, 27, who is also also known as the Melanin Goddess. The country, which became a republic on November 25, 1958, is bordered by Mauritania in the north, Mali to the east, Guinea to the southeast and Guinea-Bissau to the southwest.
