Franyerlys Nicold “Nicole” Zambrano Briceno of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, United States has died. She was 26.
Originally from Venezuela, Zambrano was the second wife of Arthur Eugene Guty Jr., 55, of Uniontown, who owned a Marathon gas station in Pennsylvania. His first wife Roxanne Guty, 53, of Redstone Township, Pennsylvania is being held at Fayette County Prison in Uniontown.
In March 2019, Roxanne was accused of trying to hire a man named Norman Pennington, then 61, of Orient, Redstone Township to kill Arthur. She was arrested after Pennington told Arthur and authorities about the murder plot.
In 2022, Zambrano started working at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania as a housekeeper. In March 2023, she and Arthur got married.
On April 2, 2023, Arthur and Zambrano were in The Villages, Florida, USA. On November 18, 2023, he took to Facebook to share a photo of them at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Days before the holidays, Zambrano failed to show up for work and Arthur left Uniontown. On December 24, 2023, her co-workers reported her missing.
During a welfare check at Zambrano’s residence in Uniontown on December 29, 2023, Uniontown Police Department officers were not able to make contact with her so they opened an investigation into her disappearance. On January 1, 2024, the officers found her dead with a gunshot wound in a bedroom at the residence.
In a separate room the officers found a .357 magnum revolver gun. That day, a warrant was issued for Arthur’s arrest.
On January 2, 2024, Arthur was arrested while having his breakfast at Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. He was found with around $100,000 in cash.
Arthur was allegedly preparing to leave the U.S. He was charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault in connection to the death of Zambrano.
