Gill Anderson, 25, and Taja Shunta Ruffin, 24, are accused of causing a disturbance at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Houston, Texas, United States on January 9, 2024. Anderson was in the driver’s seat of their car while Ruffin was in the passenger’s seat.

Anderson allegedly threatened to assault employees at the fast-food restaurant while he waited in the drive-thru. The employees were not physically harmed but they immediately called police.

Deputies with the office of Mark Herman, the Constable of Harris County Precinct 4, responded to the call and immediately located Anderson and Ruffin. The deputies found out that Ruffin was wanted on several Class C warrants and also a felony forgery warrant from Walker County, Texas.

Ruffin was arrested on the outstanding warrants. Anderson was arrested and charged with terroristic threat.

Bond for Anderson was set at $100. He and Ruffin were booked into the Harris County Jail in Houston.

On August 25, 2023, Cortland West Champions filed an eviction lawsuit against Ruffin in Harris, Texas. The plaintiff is an apartment complex in Houston.
