A global electric vehicle series called the Honda 0 Series will be launched in 2026. This was announced by Honda at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on January 9, 2024.

The CES 2024 was held at the IMC Infrastructure Pavilion – North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Including Honda, more than 4,000 companies exhibited their innovations and partnerships in artificial intelligence, sustainability and other fields before more than 130,000 attendees and media persons.

Two concept models of the Honda 0 Series namely Saloon and Space-Hub made their world premiere at the event. A model will be based on the Saloon concept in North America followed by model introductions in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. 

A new H mark logo will be used exclusively for the next-generation EV models. According to Honda global chief executive officer Toshihiro Mibe, the company will create “a completely new value from zero based on thin, light and wise” as the foundation for the Honda 0 EV series to “further advance the joy and freedom of mobility to the next level”.

In 1979, Honda started manufacturing operations in North America with motorcycle production in Marysville, Ohio, USA. In 1992, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) started awarding the ENERGY STAR Certificate for Outstanding Energy Efficiency to industrial plants .

In 2023, all of Honda’s auto plant locations in the U.S. and Canada earned the distinction. Based in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, the company is working toward its global goal of zero environmental impact by 2050.
