William Bush of Brecon, Powys, Wales, United Kingdom has died. He was 23.
Bush is the son of John Bush, 61, an English teacher, and Elizabeth Bush. John and Elizabeth have another son named Alexander Bush and a daughter named Catrin Bush.
William worked as a surveyor with a commercial property firm. He loved rugby and golf.
In 2021, William moved into a house in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales, which he shared with his friend Dylan Thomas, now 23. They both attended Cathedral School in Llandaff.
At around 11:30 a.m. on December 24, 2023, Bush was found in a car park next to Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff with multiple stab wounds in his neck and body. He was fatally stabbed multiple times allegedly by Thomas at their shared residence.
Paramedics took Bush to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where he was pronounced dead. On December 28, 2023, Thomas appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court in Cardiff and was charged with murder.
On January 2, 2024, Thomas was remanded in custody in his absence. He is due to appear in court again on February 2, 2024.
Thomas’s paternal grandfather Sir Gilbert Stanley Thomas, 82, owns a business empire worth around £235 ($299) million. In 2006, te Welsh tycoon was knighted for his charity work and services to business.
