Jon Allen was one of the two men found dead inside a Lexus at an apartment on Bickers Street in Dallas, Texas, United States at around 7:35 p.m. on January 16, 2024. He was 20.
The front and windshield of the Lexus were damaged. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of the apartment.
Allen and the other man were supposed to meet Eythn Leang, 18, of Dallas. The name of the other man has yet to be released.
Leang is accused of fatally shooting Allen and the other victim. Shortly after allegedly committing the crime, the suspect was dropped off at a hospital in Dallas.
On January 19, 2024, the Dallas Police Department announced that Leang was charged with capital murder. There are still no details about the supposed meeting between the suspect and the two victims.
Bond for Leang was set at $1,000,000. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail in Dallas.
