Terrance Boyd, 43, of Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, United States has been arrested. He grew up in Brownsville, Haywood County, Tennessee.
Boyd attended Haywood High School in Brownsville and Saint Xavier’s College in Nashville. In May 2020, he started working at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville as a technician.
In July 2022, Boyd allegedly sexually assaulted a female patient, then 13, at the hospital. He was a sitter in her room, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
Boyd consented to a deoxyribonucleic acid swab. It came back as a profile match after being tested at the crime laboratory.
On October 25, 2023, Boyd was added to the list of MNPD’s 10 most wanted fugitives. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for statutory rape by an authority figure.
On January 19, 2024, Boyd was arrested at a residence in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, USA. He will be extradited to Nashville.
