Alexzander Rosencrans, 18, of Williston, Williams County, North Dakota, United States has been arrested. He is accused of uploading and possessing child sexual abuse materials.
Rosencrans allegedly had a conversation with another individual about child pornography on Instagram. He allegedly possessed videos taken in June 2022 showing children performing sexual acts.
Moreover, Rosencrans allegedly possessed videos taken throughout November 2023 showing seven different children performing sexual acts. That month, authorities received a tip online about the materials, which involved children ranging from the ages of 7 to 17.
Rosencrans was arrested after explicit materials were found on his Instagram account. He was charged with three counts of possession of certain materials prohibited and six counts of promoting or directing an obscene sexual performance by a minor.
On January 29, 2024, Rosencrans will attend a bond hearing. His pretrial hearing will start on February 21, 2024 and his jury trial will start on May 28, 2024.
