Miss Universe Cagayan de Oro 2024 will be crowned at The Atrium of Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines on January 27, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the city-level beauty pageant that selects Cagayan de Oro’s Miss Universe Philippines and The Miss Philippines candidates.
Miss Universe Philippines selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate. The Miss Philippines selects the country’s Miss Supranational, Miss Charm and Miss Asia Pacific International candidates.
Currently, the Philippines has 27 Miss Universe placements including the coronations of Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018. The most recent one was in 2023 when Michelle Dee finished in the Top 10.
Wurtzbach attended Kong Hua School and Corpus Christi School in Cagayan de Oro. She represented the city when she won the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 title at Binibining Pilipinas 2015 on March 15, 2015.
A total of 17 women are competing for the Miss Universe Cagayan de Oro 2024 and The Miss Philippines-Cagayan de Oro 2024 crowns. Here are the candidates:
