Miss Universe Cagayan de Oro 2024 will be crowned at the Bohol Cultural Center in Tagbilaran, Bohol, Philippines on January 28, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the provincial beauty pageant that selects Bohol’s Miss Universe Philippines and The Miss Philippines candidates.
Miss Universe Philippines selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate. The Miss Philippines selects the country’s Miss Supranational, Miss Charm and Miss Asia Pacific International candidates.
Currently, the Philippines has 27 Miss Universe placements including the coronations of Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018. The most recent one was in 2023 when Michelle Dee finished in the Top 10.
Representing Makati City, Dee was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 13, 2023. Bohol’s representative Pauline Amelinckx ranked second and was crowned The Miss Philippines 2023.
The Philippines has one Miss Supranational crown, which was won by Mutya Datul in 2013. Amelinckx was runner-up to Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera.
