Christopher Stultz, 49, of Antrim, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States is a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Antrim Elementary School as a library media specialist and a kindergarten teacher.

Between January 2003 and December 2022, Stultz collected $662,871.77 from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which is based in Washington, D.C. Upon claiming he could no longer use his feet, the department rated him as 100% disabled and increased his monthly benefits.

On October 28, 2021, Stultz used a wheelchair while inside a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical center in Jamaica Plain, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. After leaving the facility, he stood up and lifted the wheelchair into his car.

On October 3,2022, Stultz did the same at the department’s medical center in Manchester, Hillsborough County. After leaving the facility, he drove to the mall and walked around.

Stultz no longer works at Antrim Elementary School. While employed at the school, he obtained veteran disability benefits he was not entitled to by falsely representing to the department that he was unable to use both his feet.

On September 13, 2023, Stultz was charged with making false statements to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. On January 25, 20254, Stultz pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court to the charge and as part of the plea deal, he has to return the $662,871.77 he stole from the department.

On May 6, 2024, Stultz will be sentenced. He faces up to 18 months in prison.
